Nikita Shares Her Egg-citing Experience at Continuum and Why She’s Coming Back in Summer!

As Continuum’s newest intern, I spent several days over Easter meeting the team and immersing myself in Alteryx.

My first day began with a buzz in the air, as the team was presenting their Alteryx User Group. This was a fascinating introduction to Alteryx, as I was able to learn how industry professionals use Alteryx in their day-to-day lives.

I particularly enjoyed learning how Alteryx could be used in research and predictive modelling, through the Jersey Hospital’s appointment schedules. It was clear that everyone in the room was excited to hear about Continuum’s new pathway with ChatGPT, and we had some great discussions about the opportunities this opened up.

The user group was a great whistle-stop of Alteryx and its capabilities, and I was excited to learn how to use it myself. On my second day, I passed my Foundation course, which was a great introduction to the interface and tools. My favourite part of learning was trying the Alteryx Community Weekly Challenges, and then discussing solutions with the team.

All in all, the team have been amazing at showing me what Alteryx is. My stint at Continuum has been brief but very jam-packed, and I am excited to come back in the summer.
