Tangent Works’ TIM with Alteryx
Tangent Works is an Alteryx Tech Alliance Partner. Combining Alteryx and Tangent Works brings a unique combination of technology helping those who work with time series data to more easily use machine learning for predictive and prescriptive scenarios.
Alteryx has its own Time Series models that we at Continuum have delivered for some clients, but does require predictive skills and significant time in building and tuning models.
DataRobot is a fully functional Automated Machine Learning platform, but that requires expertise to build time series forecasting models with separate training and scoring passes.
Tangent Works’ TIM solution is an easy to use, fast, and accurate solution for time series model generation, prediction, forecasting, and anomaly detection in an explainable way. It integrates full with Alteryx Designer meaning that all of our clients have access to easy, instant predictive forecasting.
Traditional Machine Learning for time series data presents many obstacles, but also contains enormous potential to gain deeper insights and deliver faster decisions. TIM focuses on equipping users to create business value through machine learning, rather than having their talent stuck on the technical aspects of complicated machine learning solutions.
Tangent Works makes machine learning easy to apply and available to users without the complexity of traditional AutoML model selection, time-consuming data science, and tedious manual feature engineering. Essential to citizen data science is augmented machine learning/analytics; TIM offers this with its automatic feature engineering, model generation, and deployment whilst offering understandable models.
Alteryx's vision is to create solutions that allow users to deliver on the "thrill of solving". Since time series data is everywhere, across many different industries, achieving this vision requires solutions for many time series challenges. This is why we at Tangent Works are very excited to make TIM available to the amazing Alteryx Community.
