Alteryx Inspire USA 2022 - So Long, and thanks for all the fish !

What a week we had in Denver ! Here are some highlights ;

Alteryx Community back Face 2 Face !

Brilliant to have the peerless Alteryx Community back together in person, and in this new hybrid World 3,000 attendees was a great achievement.

Phil and I were thrilled to have Rick Smith, head of Global Automation from TMF with us - lots of learning and scooting done by all of us !

Pictured are Rick and myself presenting to a busy room on TMF’s Alteryx evolution …

Alteryx makes Microsoft work better !

In our post-COVID World, nearly everyone now has Office 365 giving them Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps - lots of functionality, but getting data into them is not production quality.

As shown, Alteryx rapidly improves your data maturity.

We were very proud to be given early access to the brand new Auto Insights, and for their team to attend our session.

So, what’s Alteryx Auto Insights ?

Have a look below, then read on !

Auto Insights Run through (narration to follow)

Our video here is a whistle-stop tour of Auto Insights for the conference, using pseudonymised data for TMF’s automation program - obviously the part where Alteryx delivers most value is accurate !
In a nutshell, Alteryx Auto Insights is an AI driven auto dashboard platform.

Send it any dataset from Alteryx and have a full visualisation in your browser with drilldowns in less than a minute.

In the month we’ve been using Auto Insights we have been continually amazed at how complete it is, and from conversations with the Alteryx leadership this is just the start.

What we’ve been waiting for, but you don’t need to take our word for it…

Alteryx drinking their own champagne !

Fittingly, Auto Insights brought the conference to a close (well, Vampire Weekend did, but you get the idea).

Rick Crane, Global Account Sales Leader, presented with Claire MacFarlane from Auto Insights on the new auto dashboards being used in Rick’s team.

Key takeaways…

  • “Game changing”, “Awesome”, “Simple but powerful”

  • No longer reliant on unreliable Clari/Tableau dashboards

  • Built his own “Missions” - auto refreshed curated views

  • Auto emails at 9am on potential issues, and 12pm on opportunities

  • No more outputting to Excel for analysis

  • Went live in hours not weeks, totally reliable

  • 35% increase in pipeline in 3 months

So, thanks to Denver for a great time, to Rick from TMF for being a brilliant presenter, to Alteryx for some great new products, and to the Community for (as always) freely sharing thoughts, experiences, ideas and drinks. Roll on Amsterdam in October.

Do get in touch if you’d like to know more - most importantly you need to see Auto Insights, I’ve not been so excited about a new product since Alteryx.

Thanks for reading !

Dan
